Your Treatment Plan – ‘How Many Appointments Do I Need?’
Everyone responds in their own way to homeopathic treatment, and the number of appointments needed can depend on, for example, how long you have been unwell, your general level of health and vitality, and whether you are on long term medications from your doctor, among other factors. At your first appointment we will look at the factors affecting your health and agree a treatment plan which is tailor-made to support your recovery.
As a general guide, you might wish to consider it this way: approximately one month of treatment for each year you have been unwell. Thus, if you have a chronic health problem of 5 – 10 years duration, you should expect to come for a course of treatment initially for a period of 6 – 12 months to gain the maximum benefit from the treatment (ie approx 4 – 10 appointments, depending on individual circumstances). Homeopathic remedies can stimulate a healing response that lasts for weeks or even months in some cases, and so the interval between appointments is typically longer than for other types of treatment.
A commitment to a course of homeopathic treatment will ensure you receive the greatest healing benefit from it. A number of sessions allows me to get to know you, and to understand the story of your illness. Once you are on the road to recovery I suggest you get in touch as and when you need to, and in any case a twice yearly appointment (eg in early spring and autumn) can help to ‘nip in the bud’ any signs of ill health, and maintain your vitality and sense of well being.
Zoom and telephone appointments are available for UK and International clients, according to your time zone (I can be flexible to accommodate this). Please get in touch for Zoom contact details.

It is fine to cancel or postpone your appointment, but please give at least 24 hours notice or unfortunately I will need to charge a cancellation fee to cover my costs.
Do I need to stop taking my regular medication before coming to see you?
Please continue with your usual GP prescribed medications when you begin treatment. You may also wish to inform your GP and any other healthcare providers that you are coming to see me.
What if I have any questions or need to speak to you between appointments?
One of the keys to success with homeopathic treatment is staying in touch. You may contact me via email, telephone, mobile/cellphone or text. Please get in touch if at any stage of your treatment you are concerned about any aspect, and feel free to update me on your progress between appointments.
